NEWSOnly MLB Player to Kneel for Anthem Goes to Restaurant and Gets Served a Piping Hot Plate of Karma

Before he kneeled, Maxwell issued the following statement on Instagram about Trump:
Yeah forget this guy! Our president speaks of inequality of man because players are protesting the anthem! Seriously on the highest platform for our country expressing that it is OK for there to be Division of man and rights!

But now, Maxwell is seeing just how upset people are with him because of what he did during the national anthem. When he was back home in Alabama, he visited a restaurant and got hit in the face with reality.
Maxwell explained to TMZ that after he was seated, the waiter came up and noticed that he was the one that had kneeled during the national anthem and refused to serve them.
According to Maxwell, the waiter said:
“You’re the guy that took the knee? I voted for Trump, and I stand for everything he stands for.”
Watch as Maxwell explains what happened:

Maxwell clearly wasn’t too happy and even claimed he was “racially profiled.”
Then, the next day Maxwell told Yahoo Sports:
This is beyond race. This is about our president speaking out in a vulgar, negative way against people exercising their rights in a peaceful manner. It’s about mankind.
Maybe leaving politics off the field would have allowed him to avoid this situation.
