Gay Olympian Refused Pence’s Invite On 1st Day Of Games, So Trump Refused Something Of His

Competitions for the 2018 winter games in PyeongChang began today, two days before the opening ceremonies will be broadcasted to the world signifying the official start to the Olympics. However, we’re already learning that the games aren’t going to go happen without being an anti-Trump affair from Amercian competitors representing our nation. Among the first to take advantage of the worldwide attention is the openly gay ice skating Olympian who slammed our administration a couple of weeks ago, but wasn’t done disrespecting them there.
Adam Rippon, the 2016 U.S. men’s figure skating champion, has just ceremoniously refused Vice President Mike Pence’s invite from his public platform today. He probably felt pretty proud about doing so and likely waited for the opportunity to make such a defiant statement from the Olympic stage. His hate for Pence was previously on display as his mission seems to be more in the divisive message he hopes to spread, than in coming home with an actual medal of sports achievement. However, it didn’t take long for the gay Olympic ice skater to receive his “prize” for disrespecting the American Administration he’s representing in the Olympic games.
Rippon should have taken note of the devastating impact mixing politics with sports had on the National Football League but instead decided to ruin it for himself and everyone else.
Rippon strongly dislikes Mike Pence more than he does President Trump since he strangely believes that the Vice President funded gay conversion therapy. It’s for this reason that he fights back the VP publicly any chance he gets for having a difference of opinion, even though Pence isn’t forcing therapy on anyone – especially Rippon. The mainstream media has hailed the skater a hero for his “resistance” but the administration sees it much differently.
The Daily Wire reports:

Openly gay Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon is being hailed as a hero for refusing to meet with Vice President Mike Pence, whom he accused of “funding gay conversion therapy,” despite Pence’s repeated efforts to respond to Rippon’s claims and clear the air.
USA Today called the interaction a “bizarre battle,” and implied that Pence is locked in a feud with an Olympic athlete, even though it seems it’s Rippon who would prefer to stand by an incorrect statement rather than sit down with the high profile official he’s accused — wrongly, according to Pence’s office — of supporting a horrific practice involving electroshock therapy.
Vice President Pence is scheduled to lead the American Olympic delegation, but Rippon has refused to interact at all with the official Administration team, citing what appears to be an urban legend.
“You mean Mike Pence, the same Mike Pence that funded gay conversion therapy? I’m not buying it,” Rippon told reporters when Pence was announced as the administration’s choice for top Olympic delegate.
Of course, Rippon has to run with an unfounded claim against Pence to make a point since he has nothing real or of value the trash him and Trump publicly. This is the same pair who has made America great again as promised in the first year, a fact that even some of staunchest liberals in Hollywood and their fans have come to realize and support. Rather than just keeping politics out of the Olympics even if you don’t like our leadership, Rippon doubled down on his hate and is pushing a false claim from the world’s stage.
President Trump sees it for what it is and has since refused something of his – Rippon’s ability to feel powerful with his public declarations. All of the president and vice president’s supporters will not patronize this Olympian and will show him the same lack of support in the games that he shows our administration – taking fans from the skater. The American people are tired of athletes entering the political arena when nobody wants their misguided and divisive opinions.
Despite the discredit and apparent slander, our classy Vice President reached out the Olympian with an olive branch, perhaps knowing Rippon could use it to hit back at them with.
“[Pence] was so concerned about the criticism he received from U.S. Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon that his staff went to the extraordinary length of asking the U.S. Olympic Committee to set up a conversation between the two — an offer Rippon turned down,” USA Today reported, hailing Rippon as “not backing down” on Twitter.
Grandstanding Pence, Rippon ceremoniously said that he refuses to sit down with the vice president. “He has also refused to attend the traditional meet-and-greet between the athletes and the official Olympic delegation,’ Daily Wire added.
This situation shows who has the real class here. Pence was publicly slandered by this Olympian and still reached out to talk to him Rippon can’t find a respectful bone in his body to act as an adult and face the man he ridicules publicly. The fact that he can say whatever he feels he wants to say about whoever he wants to a world full of faceless people, but not to the man’s face he’s talking about, should tell you everything you need to know.
